Ministers Come in All Shapes, Sizes, Colors, Ages, Identities, and Abilities

Find Out More on Saturday, November 7, 1:30—4:30

By Kathy Burek, Search Committee Co-Chair

If you haven’t already signed up for the Beyond Categorical Thinking Workshop on Saturday, November 7, 1:30—4:30, you still have time. This important workshop, sponsored by the Search Committee, gives us an opportunity to learn about the way that our personal experiences and biases can hinder us from finding the best minister for our congregation, to reflect on our preconceptions of what a minister looks like, and to help us think about how MSUS could be a welcoming place for a minister of any shape, size, color, age, identity, or ability. Child care will be provided; please let us know by Sunday, November 1, if you need child care to participate.

To sign up, contact Kathy Burek or Michele Wallace, or sign up via the poster on the door to the Fellowship Hall.
